State of the Shark, Volume 2
Hey, PCHM Sharks! Our board met on Tuesday, and we have more details about this season for you.
Registration for Pebble Creek pool and our swim team are happening now! When you sign up for swim team, make sure to get a team t-shirt. This year’s shirts will feature a cool design on the front and give thanks to our amazing sponsors on the back. Please support our team and our sponsors by purchasing t-shirts for your family. Shirt orders will close May 15, and we will not be ordering extras!
Speaking of sponsors, thank you to Gen Cherrett for joining our board and ROCKING her new position as our fundraising chair. We can’t wait to update you on the total! If you have or know of a business that would like to sponsor our team, email Gen.
For your convenience, we have created a Venmo account, @PCHM-Sharks, for the team. Sponsors can use it to send in their money, and we will have other uses for it in the future.
Practice will begin May 17. Practices will be Monday-Thursday. Details:
- Before school is out, 10 and under will practice from 4-5 pm, and 11 and up will practice 5-6 pm.
- After school ends, morning practices for 10 and under will be 9-10 am, and 11 and up will be 10-11 am. Afternoon practices for 10 and under will be 4-5 pm, and 11 and up will be 5-6 pm.
- On Thursdays after school ends, we will have meets instead of afternoon practices. Visit our calendar for our meet schedule.
This year’s team suit is the Red Sport Shark on swimoutlet.com. Here are individual links to the suits. Make sure to pick the RED and black option!
Our guppies program will run June 7-21, Monday-Wednesday, 2:45-3:45 pm at Half Mile Lake. The meet will be June 26 at Pebble Creek.
Thank you to everyone who ordered food from Chipotle on Monday as a part of our team fundraiser. We raised $167.69! Every little bit helps!
For our next fundraiser, we are selling tickets to the May 22 Swamp Rabbit Hockey Match at the Bon Secours Wellness Center from 7-9 pm. This event will be our team kickoff, so join us for the fun. Click this link to buy tickets!
