Team Suits / Shirts / Caps

The cost of the team swimsuit and other equipment (such as goggles, team suit, and team t-shirt) is NOT included in the registration fees. We DO include a swim cap with the swimmers first initial and last name for those who register by April 20th. Alpine Ski Center will provide a team suit if you don't have one. The cost is of the team suit is $55 for girls and $36.75 for boys. Alpine is offering 20% off swim related items such as goggles, etc.

T-shirts are $15 and are not required but will be super cool this year! You are welcome to purchase additional shirts for friends and family to wear to the meets.

Swimming Proficiency Policy

PCHM Sharks is not a learn-to-swim program, nor do we have the ability to assign a coach to each swimmer. The swimmer should already have some basic swimming skills before joining the team. The swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool), unassisted as determined by the head coach. There are local businesses who offer winter/spring swim lessons to help your child prepare for the swim evaluation. Your swimmer DOES NOT need to be proficient in all four strokes (backstroke, breastroke, butterfly and freestyle) to join the team!

It is strongly advised that if you feel your swimmer may not meet the swimming proficiency requirement that you wait to register them for the team until after they can swim one length of the pool unassisted.
