Hi, PCHM Sharks! Swim season is almost upon us! Can you feel it? Here are some announcements to help you get ready.

Half Mile Lake Service Day

The Half Mile Lake pool committee is organizing a cleanup for this Saturday, starting at 9 am. They would love some help from our swim team. If you'd like to participate, you can show up ready to work on Saturday or email Cherish Benton with any questions. 

We're going to try to make community service a component of our program this year, and helping out this Saturday is a great start! Thanks in advance!

Registration

Swim team registration is going really well, and we are excited about all the kids swimming this year! If you haven't had a chance to register yet, make sure to do it by Friday, May 5th, if you want a personalized cap (included in your cost), t-shirts ($15 each), or ladies' tanks ($20 each). 

You can still register after this date, but we will have the swag orders submitted so that we will have them in time for the first meet. Your child will receive a swim cap without a name, and we will not have extra t-shirts for purchase.

Sponsorships

Speaking of t-shirts, we put our sponsors' logos on the back of the shirts! So, if you have a business or know someone with a business that would like to sponsor our team, we need to get them signed up by Friday, May 5th, as well! 

We will send out more information about sponsorships soon, but email Cherish Benton in the meantime if you have any questions.

First Meet

Our website says the first meet is Thursday, June 1. That is incorrect. Due to high school graduation for WHHS, we have moved it to Wednesday, May 31st. Our SAIL reps have requested for SAIL to change it on our site, but that hasn't happened yet. So, put May 31st on your calendar.

Team Suits

You do not have to purchase a team suit. You can have your swimmer wear past year's suits or any black or red suit to match our colors. 

However, if you need a suit, go to Alpine Ski Center (30 Orchard Park Drive, Suite 17) before the end of April to get your child fitted for your suit for this year. The cost of the team suit is $46 for girls and $38 for boys, and we will have this design for two years. They have two of each size available in the store so that your child can try them on. They will place the order for the suits the first week of May so that they will be available for pickup in time for the first meet.
