Hello, Guppy parents! We are so excited our Guppy program will start next week!

Practices start on June 5th. They will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 4:15-5:15 pm June 5th-24th. The location is Half Mile Lake Pool, 241 Half Mile Way, Greenville, SC 29609.

We will have at least one meet, details TBD.

The coaches will be Coach Delaney and Coach Alyssa. Coach Josh will also be on site for many of the practices. For photos and bios of our coaches, please visit the Coaches page of our website.

This year, Half Mile Lake pool is operating without lifeguards, so we need your help to ensure everyone’s safety.

• The pool has requested a parent volunteer to handle checking swimmers in. This person will stand at the gate during practice and let ONLY Guppy families into the pool. (Half Mile Lake members should have a key fob and should not need to be admitted.) If you are interested in helping out and can make it to all of the practices, please let us know. If one single person can’t fill this role, we will make a signup sheet for people to choose the dates that work best for them.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can get checked in and ready to begin practice at 4:15.
• Swimming during practice — We have been asked if parents and / or siblings of Guppy swimmers can get in the pool. For you or your non-Guppy children to swim during practice, you need to be a Half Mile Lake resident, current on your HOA dues, and have a working key fob or be a guest of one of those residents.
