Hey, Sharks!

It's very likely that the LAST thing you are thinking about right now is swim team, but we have a fun opportunity coming up!

On Saturday, December 14th, at around 6:00 p.m., Half Mile Lake will have its annual Christmas parade, and our team is planning to have a "float." 

The word is in quotes because this will not be like Homecoming floats, which you might still have nightmares about from your school days. It will be very simple—like a decorated golf cart or a truck with a trailer. We were thinking of an ocean-type theme so the kids could dress like sharks or any other ocean creature, and we're calling it "Christmas at Sea." (But we're open to more creative titles!)

If decorating "floats" is your thing, we'd love you to lead this project. We'd be happy to add any needed materials to the signup sheet. Reply to this email to discuss!

Or if you still have PTSD from pomping floats in college, you can just sign up for your family to attend or bring items.
