Hey, Sharks!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first meet and home meet a huge success. It was a well-run event, and we came away with a win! 

Congratulations to Donnie Barley and Gracen Millen, who have been selected by the coaches as our Swimmers of the Week!

Summer Practice Schedule Begins Now
With school officially out, we’re transitioning to our summer schedule:

Morning Practices

• 10 & Under: 9:00-10:00 am
• 11 & Up: 10:00-11:00 am

Afternoon Practices

• 10 & Under: 6:00-6:45 pm
• 11 & Up: 6:45-7:30 pm

Please note: There will be no practice this Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We'll resume on Tuesday.

Memorial Day Meet Reminder
Even though it’s a holiday weekend, the deadline to declare your swimmer is Sunday at noon. While you're on the events page, please take a moment to sign up to volunteer as well. We truly appreciate your support.

Wade Hampton High School Swim Team – 2025 Tryouts
Tryouts for all interested swimmers, including returning athletes, will take place on:

Date: August 7
Time: 6:30-8:00 am (arrive by 6:00 am)
Location: McCarter Pool on 198 McCarter Avenue

Tryout Requirements:

• Timed 100 of each stroke (butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke)
• Timed 200 freestyle from the starting block
• Swimmers must be able to legally swim a 100 of each stroke to be eligible
