Hey, Sharks!

Are you ready to SWIM FAST at our last regular meet of the season? Here’s everything you need to know to be prepared for Thursday.

Location: 198 McCarter Ave, Greenville, SC 29615

Swimmer Arrival Time: 4:00 p.m.

Warm-Ups: 4:45–5:15 p.m.

Timers/Officials Briefing: 5:15 p.m. behind the dive blocks

Meet Start Time: 5:30 p.m.

Team Tent Area

Our team area will be on the tennis courts by the pool, near the gate and parking lot. Set-up begins at 3:45 p.m. Swimmers will enter through the gate and walk to the staging area benches.

Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering! If you haven't signed up yet, we still need:

• Recording timers
• Lane Timers
• Tent Parents
• Parent Helpers

These are all roles you can fill without any special certification or training.

The volunteer check-in table will be located towards the end of the building across from the blocks. Records, ribbons, and computers will be in front of the bathroom building facing the pool. First half officials and timers should meet behind the dive blocks at 5:15 p.m. Second half volunteers should be ready at Event 38 to transition quickly.

Concessions

Concessions will be open at 4:45 p.m. in the front parking lot. Payment is cash or Venmo only. A wide variety of entrees, snacks, and beverages will be available. Berry Hill will also be there with their popular acai bowls.

Heat Sheets

Printed heat sheets will be provided for officials and COC volunteers only. We will email the heat sheet as soon as it is available. The SwimTopia app will also be updated throughout the meet.

Parking

Parking is very limited. Here are your options:

• In the grassy lot at the entrance to the pool
• Along McCarter Ave, Sweetbriar Rd, and Fern Creek (off Sweetbriar Rd)
  Please park on the right side of the street only, and do not block driveways, stop signs, or “No Parking” areas. It’s important to keep roads clear for traffic and emergency access.

Spectators

Families may sit on the pool deck between the pool and the building. There is also a green space behind the blocks, accessible by a path from the parking lot.

Note: Per SAIL rules, no cameras are allowed behind the starting blocks.

Weather Plan

If severe weather occurs, we will follow SAIL’s policy. If the deck must be cleared, please return to your cars. We will send updates via the SwimTopia app when swimmers may return. Be sure your app notifications are turned on.
