We wrapped up our season with a fantastic banquet last night! Thank you to Penny Wilcox for organizing such a great event, to Half Mile Lake Pool for hosting, and to all the volunteers who made it possible.

The Hueys have been a beloved part of our team since 2021. Isaac (13) and Kade (10) are the swimmers, and Matt and Rebecca have volunteered faithfully for years. Matt is currently battling cancer, and we’d like to support their family by helping with meals.

Congratulations to our Iron Shark qualifiers! Shirts are not in yet, but I’ll email those who ordered once they arrive. If you still need to pick up trophies or medals, you can wait until the shirts are ready so you can get everything at once.

Trophy & Medal Pickup

If you missed the banquet, here’s how to get your swimmer’s awards:

• Championships and Classics swimmers: I’ll bring them to practice — just let me know if you're in this category and need medals.
• All others: Pick up at my home (105 Shark Court, Greenville — Linkside III neighborhood, behind Ingles on Stallings). I’ll leave them in the newspaper slot of my mailbox if you give me one day’s notice.

Record Breakers

We had three incredible records broken this season!

• 13–14 Girls Medley Relay (Brielle Williams, Landon Dodder, Carolina Clarkson, Belle Fee): broke the team record by 6 seconds.
• Max Tucker: broke his own 15–18 men’s 100 free record.
• 13–14 Girls Free Relay (Bella Fee, Ollie Tucker, Brielle Williams, Landon Dodder): broke a 1992 record at McCarter, then broke their own time again at Divisionals by nearly 5 seconds.

These swimmers received special GOAT medals at the banquet. If your swimmer is listed and you missed the event, let me know so I can include the medal when you pick up the others.

Championships & Classics

While many of us are wrapping up, the season continues for our Championships and Classics swimmers. Reports listing these swimmers are attached.

Lisa Fronczak ([email protected]) will take over communication for C&C swimmers for the final stretch of the season. So, unless you ordered an Iron Shark shirt or something major comes up, this may be my last message for the season.

It’s been an honor to serve you this season. I truly believe we have the best swimmers, parents, coaches, and board members around. Thanks for being part of this amazing team.
