Hey, Sharks! 

Get ready for our first meet! Below is everything you need to know.

Pool Address and Swimmer Drop-off

The pool is located at 10 Violet Court, Greenville, SC 29615. Please use the circle by the clubhouse for unloading and swimmer drop-off.

Times

• Swimmers should arrive by 4:15 p.m.
• Our warm-ups will be from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.
• Volunteer meetings will be at 5:15 p.m.
• The meet will start at 5:30 p.m.

Parking

Once the parking lots are full, follow these parking instructions:

1. Park on the right-hand side of the street unless otherwise marked. Please do not park on both sides of the street.
2. Do not park within 2 car lengths of a stop sign.
3. Do not park across from a driveway blocking the residents from exiting.
4. Do not park on grass.
5. Do not park within 2 car lengths of an intersection.
6. We strive to have 3 golf carts to transport families from their cars to the pool.
7. Police will patrol the neighborhood, and the tow fee is $219.

Visiting Team Swimmer Area

Follow the sidewalk on the left side of the clubhouse to the visiting team swimmer area. There is a cement pad and a grassy area in the shade for our team, where we may set up tents, etc. Please do not set up on the concrete walkways, as they need to remain clear for use.

Spectators

Spectators will not be allowed to set up chairs on the pool deck; however, plenty of space outside the pool fence will be available for chairs. There will be a spectator observation walk area, where spectators can walk onto the pool deck during their swimmer’s events.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located in the pool area. The clubhouse restrooms are only for those volunteers working with computers and ribbons. No swimmers should be in the clubhouse outside of the area designated for concessions.

Severe Weather Plan

As of right now, thunderstorms are predicted for Thursday. We hope this changes!

In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL’s weather policy. If we need to clear the deck, everyone will be asked to return to their cars to wait. DON'T LEAVE! 

Make sure you have the Swimtopia App downloaded to your phone with notifications turned on so you can receive the alert to return to the pool deck. To log in to the app, use the email and password you created on Swimtopia when you registered your swimmer.

Concessions

Concessions will be available for purchase in the clubhouse. They will accept cash or Venmo. They will have burgers, hot dogs, Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, Chick-Fil-A nuggets, buttered noodles, chips, candy, and drinks.

Volunteers

Thank you to everyone who signed up to volunteer for this first meet! When you arrive, find Laura Fee to check in and get your name tag.

The following volunteer groups will meet at 5:15 p.m.:

• Officials: Meet near the starter stand
• Timers: Meet near the lane 6 block
• Clerk of Course: Meet near the swimmer benches

Ribbons and Donuts

On Friday morning at 9 a.m., we usually have a Ribbons and Donuts celebration at Pebble Creek Swim Club. However, this week, we will not have it because most swimmers will still be in school. If your child is named Swimmer of the Week, we will let you know and would like to get a photo to share on social media and in the Greenville Journal. We can't wait to find out who our first Swimmers of the Week will be!
