🦈 Another Great Meet and Looking Ahead to Holly Tree

Hey, Sharks!

Thanks for another amazing meet! We brought home another win with a final score of 347-324. It was a close race all night and came down to the very end, with everything riding on the relays. What an exciting finish! We loved seeing everyone's enthusiasm as they came out to cheer on our relay teams. In the future, though, let’s try not to make it quite so close. We dearly love our board president, and we’re afraid a few more finishes like that might give him a heart attack!

As always, thank you to our swimmers, families, and coaches for the way you conducted yourselves at the meet. Your sportsmanship and kindness matter far more to us than winning ever will.

We hope you had fun at Donuts and Ribbons this morning! We’re excited to celebrate these swimmers:

  • Team Spirit: Ethan Decker (11-12 boys) and Alex Fee (13-14 girls)
  • Hardest Workers: Van Black (6 and under boys) and River Whitright (9-10 girls)
  • Swimmers of the Week (pictured above): Deacon Gillis (7-8 boys) and Avery Loach (11-12 girls)

Now it’s time to get prepared for our next meet — a HOME MEET! We’ll be hosting Holly Tree Country Club and implementing time drops for the first time.

Please declare your swimmers by noon on Sunday. Even if your swimmer cannot attend, please select “Not attending this meet.” Declaring swimmers accurately and on time is a huge help to our volunteers and coaches, especially as we transition to time drops. Thank you for helping everything run smoothly!

Have a great weekend, and get ready to swim fast next week.

Fear the Fin,

The PCHM Swim Team Board
