Another Great Meet in the Books 🦈

Another great meet is in the books, Sharks!

We faced Holly Tree last night and came away with a big win, 396-266!

Thank you to our volunteers, swimmers, coaches, and families for all the hard work that made the evening a success. We especially want to give a shout-out to Jessica Barley for taking our team photo before the meet and to our Treasurer, Daniel Mauldin, for the time and energy he has invested in getting our Time Drops system up and running.

We also want to thank all of our parents for their patience as we learned our new timing system. Trying something new always comes with a few challenges, but thanks to everyone's flexibility and support, we made it through! We feel confident that we've worked out the major kinks and are excited for an even smoother experience at our next home meet.

This morning at Ribbons & Donuts, we celebrated some truly outstanding Sharks:

  • Team Spirit: Fiona Johnson (9-10 Girls) and Desmond Wilcox (13-14 Boys)
  • Hardest Workers: Amberley Laube (6 & Under Girls) and Jones Fisher (6 & Under Boys)
  • Swimmers of the Week: Mary Beth Hamlett (Girls 11-12) and Robert Lewis (Boys 15+)

Congratulations to all our swimmers recognized today!

Most importantly, we're proud of every Shark who jumped into the water last night. Your hard work at practice, positive attitudes, and determination are paying off. Whether you dropped time, cheered on a teammate, stepped into a relay, or gave your best effort, you helped make our team stronger.

Keep working hard, supporting one another, and having fun. We can't wait to see what you accomplish next week!
