🦈 Dryland Clarification

Hi again, everyone!

We apologize for the second email, but we've received a few questions that suggest our previous communication may not have been entirely clear.

We will be holding dryland practice for both 10 & under and 11 & up swimmers during their regular practice times.

Dryland practice consists of exercises performed out of the water that help swimmers build strength, flexibility, and endurance in the muscles they use while swimming. Swimmers should wear comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes.

While we know everyone would prefer to be in the pool, dryland training is a valuable part of swimmer development. If we didn't believe it would benefit the team, we would have simply canceled practice. Our coaches will make it fun and engaging, and it's a great opportunity for the kids to stay active and burn off some energy.

We encourage everyone to join us in making the best of this situation, and we hope to see you at the pool soon!

Thank you again for your flexibility and understanding.

Sincerely,

The PCHM Swim Team Board
