Hey, Sharks!
Are you ready for our LAST home meet and dual meet of the season?
Before we get started on those details, we’d like to share our team photos, which Jessica Barley took for us at our last home meet. You can access them in this Google Drive folder.
Meet Times
- 3:30 p.m. – Pool setup begins
- 3:45 p.m. – PCHM swimmers arrive
- 4:15-4:45 p.m. – PCHM warm-ups
- 4:45-5:15 p.m. – HTCC warm-ups
- 5:15 p.m. – Officials meeting
- 5:30 p.m. – Meet begins
Parking
We share our parking lot with the golf club, and we can park in the spaces closest to the pool and tennis courts. The golf club will have their parking areas marked for the meets, so please be respectful and follow the posted instructions.
Additional parking is available:
- Along Pebble Creek Drive on the side opposite the houses
- At the tennis courts
If you park on a street with homes, please park on only one side of the road and avoid blocking driveways.
Swim for Matt Fundraiser
During the meet, we will be raising funds in memory of Matt Huey, a beloved member of our swim team family who lost his fight with pancreatic cancer in September 2025.

Swimmer Area
Our swimmer area will be located between the pool buildings and the parking lot. Look for our team tents!
Restricted Areas
Please stay off the tennis courts.
There is also a large piece of machinery located in the swimmer area. Children must not climb on or play around this equipment. All restricted areas will be clearly marked and blocked off for safety.
Volunteers
Volunteer check-in will be under the cabana on the pool deck.
- First-half volunteers: Check in with Laura by 5:00 p.m.
- Second-half volunteers: Check in with Laura by Event 35.
- First-half officials and timers: Meet behind the dive blocks at 5:15 p.m.

Concessions
We'll have food trucks from Carolina Classic Diner and Berry Hill in the parking lot. The Shark Shack will also be open and serving pizza, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome on deck. A designated spectator area will be available near the deep-end side of the pool. Space is limited, so please be considerate of others.
Severe Weather Plan
In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL's weather policy. If the pool deck must be cleared, everyone will be asked to return to their vehicles until it is safe to resume the meet.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE, especially if your swimmer is scheduled to swim in a relay.
Be sure you have the SwimTopia app installed and notifications enabled so you'll receive updates and alerts when it is time to return to the pool deck. Use the email address and password you created during registration to log in.
Scratches
If something comes up and your swimmer will miss the meet, please text Debby DeRosa at 864-423-2043. Meet days are very busy, so emails to coaches or board members may be missed.
