Buckle up — the end of the season is approaching quickly, so we have a lot of important updates to share!

Guppies Meet – Saturday, June 21

Guppies, your big moment is almost here!

You're scheduled to swim against McCarter on Saturday, June 21, at 8:30 a.m. at the Pebble Creek Swim Club. More details coming soon.

Shark Meet Tonight vs. Thornblade

We're hosting Thornblade at home tonight!

• Set-up begins at 3:30 p.m.
• Swimmers should arrive in team suits by 4:00 p.m.
• Warm-ups will be from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Combined heat sheets are attached. You can also find your swimmer’s individual events in the Swimtopia app. Be sure to turn notifications on in case we need to send any last-minute updates.

Merchandise Table Tonight

Did you see the board wearing the new PCHM SHARKS trucker hats at the last meet? 

Here's a fun spoiler — these hats are the Divisionals gifts this year! Swimmers who participate in Divisionals will receive one for free.

If you’d like to purchase a hat or other items, visit our merchandise table tonight. 

Available items include:

• Trucker hats: $20 each
• Towels and totes: $10 each
• PCHM SHARKS magnets: $5 each

Divisionals – Sign-Up Now Open

Divisionals are right around the corner:

• 11 and up swimmers: Friday, June 27
• 10 and under swimmers: Saturday, June 28

To be eligible, swimmers must have participated in at least two regular season meets.

Need help choosing events? Here's how to check your swimmer's rankings:

1. Go to: https://sail.greenvillejournal.com/2025-swim-association-invitational-league-results/
2. Scroll down and click the table’s header row.
3. Be patient. Your browser will think for a bit, the page will go blank, and then a search bar will finally appear.
4. Type in your swimmer’s name to view their event rankings.
5. Select up to three events with their highest rankings.

Choosing based on rankings gives your swimmer the best chance to qualify for Championships and Classics, and helps our team score points.

Deadline to declare for Divisionals: Friday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m.

Championships and Classics Availability

If your swimmer is competing at Divisionals, please also indicate their availability for:

• Championships – Saturday, July 12
• Classics – Sunday, July 13

Both are listed on the Signup Calendar. 

Very important: if you indicate that your swimmer is available and they qualify, they are expected to compete. Our team is charged for no-shows.

Deadline to update availability: Friday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m.

Volunteer Requirement Reminder

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers this season!

As a reminder, each family is required to complete at least three volunteer spots.

If you haven’t met this requirement, now is the time. We understand that some families have young children or other challenges, and we’re happy to help you find a role that works for you.

Please contact Laura Fee at 310-387-9065 or [email protected] if you need help finding a volunteer opportunity. Families who haven’t fulfilled this requirement will be contacted individually.

After-Meet Party – Tonight

Join us after the meet for a free swim and pizza celebration!

Thank you to Pebble Creek Swim Club for allowing extra time at the pool, and to our coaches who will be lifeguards. Please wait for instructions before swimmers enter the pool. We need to take down the meet equipment first for safety.

Ribbons and Donuts – Tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.

Come to the Pebble Creek Swim Club tomorrow morning for donuts, swimmer of the week awards, and more fun.

Swimmers should wear suits and be ready for free swim and activities.

No additional photo times are scheduled this season, but we’re considering offering an evening session next year.
