Hi, Sharks! Get ready to SWIM FAST at our meet at Stonehaven this Thursday! Below are important meet details.

Location: 5 Cooper Dairy Road, Simpsonville, SC

Pool: 25m, 6 lanes. Starting end depth: ~8 ft; turn end depth: ~3.5 ft.
Please note turn-end depth for 10 & under relays.

Schedule

• Our Swimmer Arrival: 4:00 p.m.
• Our Team Warmups: 4:30–5:00 p.m.
• Stonehaven Guppy Parade & Senior Walkout: 5:00 p.m.
• Officials Meeting: 5:25 p.m. behind the starter (Lane 6, start end)
• Timers Meeting: 5:25 p.m. near Clerk of Course benches (Lane 6, start end)
• Meet Start: 5:30 p.m. (May be delayed due to the Guppy Parade & Senior Walkout)

Timing System
Stonehaven will use the Time Drops system like Silverleaf. Races are centrally started. Timers only need to push the button at the finish. Further instructions will be provided at the timer briefing.

Concessions
Open at 4:45 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the clubhouse.

Parking

• Primary Parking: Advent United Methodist Church (2258 Woodruff Rd)
• Drop-offs are allowed at the pool before parking.
• Limited neighborhood street parking. No Parking signs will be posted on one side.
• Parking marshals in reflective vests will assist starting at 4:00 p.m.

Spectators
No restrictions, but please:

• Stay outside the roped-off areas 
• Enter/exit the pool deck through the back gates
• No spectators or cameras allowed behind the starting blocks (per SAIL)

Heat Sheets

• Printed copies will be provided for officials, tent parents, and COC volunteers.
• A digital copy will be emailed when available.
• Swimmers’ info also accessible in the SwimTopia app.

Severe Weather Plan
In case of inclement weather, Stonehaven will follow SAIL guidelines. If the deck is cleared, please return to your cars. Updates will be sent through SwimTopia app alerts. Make sure notifications are enabled.

Additional Notes

• Restrooms are on the pool deck (shallow end).
• Clubhouse access is limited to computer and ribbon volunteers.
• Stonehaven will hand out ducks to all heat winners and run “Hot Heats” with music. Swimmers who win a “Hot Heat” can choose a prize from the table!

Divisionals Clarification

11 and up swimmers will swim on Friday night starting in the afternoon. (The official meet start time is 4:00 p.m.) 10 and under swimmers will swim Saturday morning. Divisionals will be at Stonehaven, which is the same pool as this week’s meet. For more information about Divisionals, read this previous email.
