🦈 Heat Sheets, Guppies, Divisionals, & End-of-Season Events

Hey, Sharks!

We have a lot of important information to share about Thursday's meet and Divisionals!

Topgolf

Sign up for Topgolf tonight if you want your swimmer to participate. We must submit our final numbers to Topgolf tomorrow.

Thursday's Meet

We sent out all the information for Thursday's meet on Saturday. If you missed it, you can view it at https://pchm.swimtopia.com/news/317353.

Attached, you'll find our heat sheets and individual events by swimmer.

Guppies

Congratulations to Blue Adams, Denim Hall, Luke Hederstedt, and Jackson Moore on moving up to the Sharks team this week! They'll be swimming in their first meet on Thursday.

We're also celebrating Tristan Rose, who moved up to the Sharks practice this season.

We are so proud of all our Guppies and the hard work they've put in this summer!

We're looking forward to our Guppies meet against McCarter this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Pebble Creek pool. More details will be sent directly to Guppies families soon.

Volunteers

Please remember that each household is asked to contribute a total of 1.5 meets' worth (3 volunteer points) during the dual meet season. This Thursday is our final dual meet.

If your family has not yet completed your volunteer commitment, please sign up for spots from our remaining openings. And if you're able to lend an extra hand beyond the minimum requirement, your support makes an even bigger difference.

The following spots are still available for Thursday:

  • Clerk of Course – both halves
  • Computer Assistant – second half
  • Parent Helper – first half
  • Parking Attendants – 4:00-5:30 p.m. (We need additional help due to a golf tournament taking place that evening.)
  • Tent Parent – second half
  • Bring four cases of water (an easy opportunity that counts as one volunteer point)

We can't run our meets without volunteers, and when everyone pitches in, the workload becomes much more manageable for all.

Questions? Contact Laura Fee at 310-387-9065.

Pizza Pump-Up

Join us for a fun night of pre-Divisionals team building on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Wade Hampton High School cafeteria.

We'll enjoy a season slideshow, decorate our cars, and spend time together as a team.

This event is free, and the whole family is invited. Please RSVP and consider volunteering through our Sign Up Calendar.

End-of-Season Banquet

We'll celebrate another great season at the Half Mile Lake Pool on Sunday, June 28, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

The team will provide chicken tenders and hot dogs, and families are asked to bring a side dish to share.

Please RSVP, sign up for your dish, and volunteer to help through our Sign Up Calendar.

Thanks for all you do to make this season such a success. Let's finish strong, Sharks!
